Infiltration
I had intended to write this set of posts as the final set. It may yet be the final, I don't know. My original intention was to build an argument of speculation that would the following seem more plausible. However, the blog has taken on a life of it's own. I'm just going to spit out wild theory after wild theory.Make no mistake, I have no hard and fast belief about the hidden meaning of these films. I just know it's there. I see a pattern but it's blurred. When I back away and regroup I have suspicions but no proof. But then I realize there can never be proof. Kubrick is dead and even if he were alive, he's an artist and he would never reveal.
What's the buzz, tell me what's a happening?
Many of my dedicated readers have asked what was the significance of the Duchy of Brittany and Katonah NY from the previous post. Well, there is none. But if there was, in my warped way of thinking (MWWOT) it would be this, it's Geographic Gematria.
Gematria is according to Wikipedia, "...is a traditional Jewish system of assigning numerical value to a word or phrase, in the belief that words or phrases with identical numerical values bear some relation to each other, or bear some relation to the number itself as it may apply to a person's age, the calendar year, or the like."
The key takeaway is the words with the same total bear a relationship and may lead one to greater understanding.
Geographic Gematria (my term) is when there is a correlation between a location and another concept or entity. In this case Kubrick films (EWS, Shining) and Katonah. My theory is that there is something in that location that relates to the spirit or idea of what Kubrick was trying to relate?
What is the relation? The Worm is the Spice, the Spice is the Worm! No, sorry. If anything this is delving into more wild speculation. I want to travel to Katonah to confirm my suspicions and I need to view the film 'Diane' which I believe is the key to the Montfort, Brittany relation.
Whither Kubrickistan?
Let's begin schizo-speculation with the general and move to the specific.
Perhaps, the reason SK filmed all of his later films in Great Britain was a message in itself. He filmed Paths of Glory and Spartacus on locations Bryna Productions picked out. POG was filmed in Germany. This is where he 1st became connected with Kirk Douglas, met his wife Christiane whose uncle directed a Pro-Nazi film for Hitler and I believe also came into contact with something else. Subject of a later post.
But Kubrick, after that, filmed everything from the UK. Loved it there. fear of flying, paranoia, we'll never really know. What I propose is that was part of the message. Now I apologize, this is really going to piss everyone off because I'm going to speculate on something without a mountain of evidence, solid or circumstantial. Much like a director, I'm going to ask you to suspend your disbelief for a moment. It won't hurt.
What if Stanley was trying to highlight the illusion that the U.S. is separate from the U.K.? I don't mean at the everyday or even the governmental level but at the level where it really matters. We'll get back to this shortly. It has to do with Infiltration.
Through overhead lighting, the party goers only shadow is directly below them.
Same here, Red Cloak casts no shadow, Cruise/Harford the most.
Now I'm not saying the Revolution of 1776 did not take place, it did. People died, there was suffering and heroism. I'm just saying at a certain level there was a forgone conclusion. That this was a presentation of the method whereby the smaller could dominate the greater in the New World. The U.S. would stand as a separate nation in all ways but would eventually be controlled by parties in Britain. By parties I mean the actual rulers of that state. Not the ones everyone thinks as rulers. So the crown and Parliament were not in on the coup. Nations are means to an end, not the something whose rulership is the culmination of the TCNS.
So Britain rules the world right? Not quite, it's a platform. It brought the world the modern banking system.

The four letter "I" word
Well, not really four, it's Illuminati. I'm referring not to the reality but the concept. I guarantee that if there is a real Illuminati, they don't call themselves that anymore. Brian Desborough authored a book called, 'They Cast No Shadows' and I feel that is a most apt description. So this group, TCNS based on the known writings of Adam Weisthaupt and what little I've heard about their true methods, was bent on control by way of infiltrating the existing power structures, not overpowering them. So they would infiltrate and control the Freemasons or the Church then use these existing power structures to move the masses according to their agenda. To paraphrase Arkon Daraul (pen name for Idries Shah) in his book Secret Societies, the weaker believed they could overcome the stronger by superior planning and organization. Think of the line attributed to Nathan Rothschild (again paraphrasing) I don't give a damn who makes the laws of a country if I can control the currency of that country. It sounds better in the original Klingon.Through overhead lighting, the party goers only shadow is directly below them.

As Above So Below me
For brevity's sake, let's focus on EWS as a microcosm rather than the whole body of Kubrick's work. There will be plenty of time for posts on that later, specifically regarding Barry Lyndon and Clockwork Orange.
So we have Dr. Harford cruising around New York which is really England. What does he run into? An elite conclave. Ok, so this is Kubrick showing us who rules the world right? Awesome! Wait, they're all wearing masks. Venetian masks specifically. That's not specified in Traumnovelle, that's courtesy of Kubrick. The Venetians were bankers and masters of economic warfare, taking on the impossibly large Ottoman Empire for one. So the Venetian bankers are behind the British throne? The whole Black Guelph thing? Well, maybe. I'm not well versed on Lyndon Larouche as I've always heard he's nuts. Not in the good way, like me! I gleaned this from Wikipedia (link) :
LaRouche is known for alleging conspiracies by the British. LaRouche has said that the dominant imperialist strategic force acting on the planet today is not the United States, but the "Anglo-Dutch liberal system" of the British Empire, which he asserts is an oligarchic financial consortium like that of medieval Venice, more like a "financial slime-mold" than a nation.[44] According to this theory, London financial circles protect themselves from competition by using techniques of "controlled conflict" first developed in Venice, and LaRouche attributes many wars in recent memory to this alleged activity by the British.
I would be curious if Kubrick had read any of Larouche's material. There is some circumstantial evidence that he did.

Larouche apparently edited a publication called Fidelio Magazine.

One fly in the ointment is the Venetian Carnival takes place right before Lent, like Mardi Gras. Eyes Wide Shut takes place at Christmas. Traumnovelle takes place at the Carnival season so the Christmas motif is Kubrick.
In all the scenes in EWS, Somerton is conspicuous by it's absence of any references to Christmas or Christmas lights.
Also the stock footage of the exterior of the Harford's apartment building is thought to be the San Remo in New York.
San Remo, if we taken the definition of sans or without and the Anglo-French root of the word being san, we could use Remo as an anagram for Rome.
San Remo = without Rome
Somerton = Not Rome's
Recalling that the exterior of Somerton is actually a Rothschild mansion then follows the reasoning, it's the Jews! Kubrick was Jewish, he married Christiane Harlan, niece of the controversial German filmmaker Veit Harlan. So is Kubrick pointing at Jewish Bankers ruling the world?
Except the interior shots of Somerton were filmed at Elveden Hall which was the site of an old Abbey and was a gift of Henry VIII to the Duke of Norfolk. It eventually came into the hands of the Maharajah Duleep Singh, ruler of the Sikh Empire. He redesigned the manor to resemble the Italian style on the outside but the Mughal style on the inside. If there's meaning to the exterior shot, why wouldn't there be to the interior location?
The Raj would be a fine example of initially rule by economic infiltration which escalated to all out overt rule. Yet the Maharajah would also be a great example of member of the empire who benefited greatly from his association with the ruling class.
The 'mass' presided over by Red Cloak is a backward recording of a Romanian Orthodox Divine Liturgy. So they are Satanists? Didn't former Jesuit Malachi Martin, in his book Windswept House imply that there were Satanists imbedded in the Vatican. Besides pedophilia, hasn't the Vatican been rocked by banking scandals?
I posit that Kubrick is pointing to a historical elite, not just a banking or one ethnic or religious group. That is the subject of part two.
